ISLAMABAD : The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has decided to set up a special cell for effective investigation of white collar crimes in the country. On the direction of Chairman Justice (Retd) Javed Iqbal, it has been decided to set up a special cell in the National Accountability Bureau to ensure robust investigation of white collar crimes. According to sources, experienced investigators, bankers, chartered accountants and income tax officers will be part of the cell. The Special Cell will assist NAB officers in ongoing investigations. The Special Cell will get assistance from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and other relevant agencies.
