- ISLAMABAD: In view of the increasing tension in the Middle East, Pakistan has reserved strategic reserves of petroleum products for the month of June.
- According to the Ministry of Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik officials, 446 metric tons of crude oil have been reserved for June, while 201 metric tons of diesel have also been arranged.
- Officials say that it has been estimated to obtain 98 metric tons of petrol at the local level, while 18 metric tons of jet fuel have also been reserved.
- According to sources, JP-8 fuel reserves have also been reserved for 12 days so that the supply is not affected in any emergency situation, 18 metric tons of LPG have also been arranged for June.
- According to officials, Pakistan will work on a long-term plan on energy security after the war stops.
