A Peshawar court has sentenced a man to death twice for killing two brothers after he was found guilty.
According to, Additional Sessions Judge Peshawar Imtiaz Ali sentenced the man to death twice and a fine of Rs 2 million after he was found guilty.
According to the prosecution, the father of the deceased Tariq and Kamil filed a report with the Daudzai police station and said that he was near his house with his sons when the accused Javed, his wife and daughter armed themselves and approached them and after an argument, they started firing, due to which he himself survived, while his two sons were seriously injured and both died during the transfer to the hospital.
The FIR described the incident as a quarrel and it was written that a case is going on in the family court with the accused’s relative and according to the accused, we are helping them, which is why they were angry.
The police registered a case against the accused under the sections of murder and attempt to murder and arrested the accused. Later, the female accused were released on bail. After the investigation was completed, the police submitted the complete challan to the court, after which the trial of the accused began.
The trial of the accused was completed yesterday and the court, based on all the evidence, ordered the accused Javed to be hanged twice and pay two million rupees to the heirs of the deceased if he is found guilty under the section of murder, while three years of imprisonment and a fine of one hundred thousand rupees to the heirs of the deceased for attempt to murder.
The court wrote in the decision that in case of non-payment of the fines, the accused will have to spend another year in jail.
The court decision ruled that the accused should be hanged until he dies. On the other hand, the court issued orders to acquit the female accused from the case due to insufficient evidence and lack of evidence.
