KARACHI: The local residents on Sunday staged a protest against the electricity load-shedding and water dearth in Karachi’s Korangi.
According to details, hundreds of people from various areas demonstrated a protest against the power outage and water scarcity by blocking the road for traffic.
The protesters also burned tyres and chanted slogans against the government.
The locals were of the view that people are facing difficulties due to consistent load-shedding in their areas and further demanded the government to solve the matter as early as possible.
The police officers while arriving at the scene dispersed the protesters after successful negotiation. NNI
