Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, while highlighting the importance of unity and solidarity, has said that the victory of May 10 taught the enemy a lesson that he will remember for the rest of his life, we have made Pakistan a great military power.

Addressing a ceremony for overseas Pakistanis in London, the Prime Minister congratulated overseas Pakistanis on the victory of May 10 and the great success of the struggle for truth, saying that this is the victory through which the enemy was taught a lesson that he will remember for the rest of his life.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said that it is a matter of great joy and pride for me that I am standing in front of the great overseas Pakistanis, you are the great ambassadors of the country who work day and night in Europe, Britain, North America and in the Middle East and the Far East and earn halal livelihood in foreign lands.

He said that I sincerely want to admit that you earn a living through hard work. Last year, you sent $38.5 billion to Pakistan from your hard earned money. Without this, Pakistan’s economy cannot move forward, for which I salute and pay tribute to you.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said that overseas Pakistanis not only defend the country economically but also politically in every forum around the world. I also salute you for this.

The Prime Minister said that the way doctors, engineers, business people and workers work day and night abroad are the great qualities of Pakistan, which you have introduced in the world as hard work, honesty and dignified Pakistani services.

The Prime Minister also congratulated overseas Pakistanis on the victory and great success of May 10 and said that this is the victory that taught the enemy a lesson that they will remember for the rest of their lives.

The Prime Minister said that when we were falsely accused, I gave a statement in Kakul and said that Pakistan had nothing to do with this incident and I announced that an international committee should be formed to conduct a transparent investigation into the Pahalgam incident, but the neighboring country did not respond, rather on May 6, the enemy attacked Pakistan and caused damage by attacking innocent Pakistanis, mosques and civilian property.

‘Pakistan had to take action in self-defense and in one fell swoop, 6 enemy aircraft were shot down. The enemy found out within a few hours that if the matter got out, it would go far.’

He said that at 2:30 in the morning, Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir called me and said, Mr. Prime Minister, I want to tell you that the enemy has attacked us again. He said, Mr. Prime Minister, allow me, since the enemy has committed a heinous act again, I will teach him a lesson that he will remember for the rest of his life.

The Prime Minister said that I have just come from some friendly Arab countries, where the head of a country asked me what two things were the reason for Pakistan’s great victory, to which I replied that one reason was the courage, bravery and professionalism of the Pakistani armed forces, trust in Allah Almighty and many modern and high-level training and the second was the complete unity and harmony in the thinking of the political and military leadership and the third thing that I told him and conveyed was the unwavering determination that we did not look back.

The Prime Minister said that Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir led this war, the soldiers and officers of his army showed their highest performance and our Shaheens and Air Chief Zaheer Ahmed Babar controlled the enemy in the best way and by the grace of Allah Almighty, Pakistan was granted that glory that has no example in recent history.

The Prime Minister said that the entire nation from Karachi to Peshawar was in prostration and Allah Almighty gave the great Pakistanis such a victory that today, when people from the West to the East see the green passport of Pakistan, they say that we salute the great Pakistanis.

The Prime Minister said that during this battle of truth, which we call Operation Banyan Marsus, an enemy shell landed near the house of Lieutenant Colonel Zaheer Abbas, as a result of which his young son Irtaza Abbas was martyred while Lieutenant Colonel Zaheer Abbas was performing his duty at the Line of Control.

The Prime Minister said that I, President Asif Ali Zardari and Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir read the funeral prayer of this young martyr and the martyr’s face was open like a flower.

The Prime Minister said that we have taken full revenge for this heinous act, the ceasefire has been declared, now we want peace, development and prosperity and want to eliminate unemployment and investment in Pakistan.

The Prime Minister said that we have put this offer before the world many times and the world has listened to us. I have said this many times that we want to discuss the Kashmir issue, the water issue, trade and counter-terrorism on an equal footing.

The Prime Minister said that we are neighboring countries in the region and it depends on us whether we want to live in peace or live like quarrelsome neighbors. It is our heartfelt desire that we live with honor and dignity, but for this, the resolution of the Kashmir issue is a fundamental pillar. If anyone thinks that mutual relations can be established without resolving the Kashmir issue, then he lives in a fool’s paradise.

The Prime Minister said that the blood of Kashmiris will not be allowed to go in vain, similarly to the atrocities being committed in Gaza, 64 thousand elders, mothers, sisters and children were martyred in Palestine and Gaza, their food and medicines were stopped.
