Japan, 1.2 million people visit Pakistan pavilion is proof of interest in Pakistani products, says Maryam Nawaz

OSAKA: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, while highlighting the province’s handicrafts at the Expo held in Osaka, Japan, said that the arrival of 1.2 million visitors to the Pakistani pavilion is a clear proof of the world’s interest in Pakistani products.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz met with Expo Association Chief Administrator Akinnoki Manatsu in Osaka and appreciated the theme of World Expo 2025, ‘Designing Future Society for Our Lives’.

On this occasion, Expo Association Administrator Akinnoki Manatsu thanked Maryam Nawaz for her visit to the Expo and termed the interest of the Punjab Chief Minister as welcome.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz informed about Punjab’s handicrafts, especially Ajrak and blue pottery, and said that the land of Punjab is rich in natural treasures, which she wants to present to the world.

Maryam Nawaz said that Punjab’s skilled craftsmen are capable of transforming their handicrafts into unparalleled masterpieces and the arrival of 1.2 million visitors to Pakistan’s pavilion is a testament to the world’s interest in Pakistani products.

Expo Association Administrator General Akinnoki Manatsu briefed her about the Expo and said that Expo 2025 will highlight tools and methods related to saving human lives, providing better facilities to the public and improving public services.

Maryam Nawaz said that experts at the Expo are making valuable recommendations on solutions to the social problems faced by the country.
