The United Arab Emirates has described restoring trust with Iran as a long and difficult process.

According to the international news agency, Anwar Gargash, advisor to UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has said that the lack of trust with Iran in the recent war is at the highest level in history.

At the World Policy Conference in France, he said that it will take years for the UAE to restore trust with Iran due to the multiple attacks in the recent war.

The adviser to the Emirati president said that if you attack a country with 2,800 missiles and drones and then talk about trust, that is not possible. Trust has been severely damaged. It will not be restored in a pinch.

He added that 89 percent of Iran’s attacks on the UAE were aimed at targeting civilians, civilian infrastructure and energy systems.

Anwar Gargash added that Iran was sending a message to the Gulf Arab countries with these attacks that they are not important in our calculations and the effects of this thinking will last for a long time.

He also said that Iran will be considered a strategic threat in the region, especially for the United Arab Emirates and other countries.

It should be remembered that since February 28, in response to the war imposed by Israel and the United States, Iran has repeatedly targeted American military bases and oil installations in the United Arab Emirates.

The United Arab Emirates had reacted strongly, calling it a violation of sovereignty and national security, and all Gulf countries had also jointly condemned and called Iranian actions a threat to the region.

However, Iran’s position was that neighboring brotherly countries should not allow the United States to be used to attack Iran on their territory. Only American targets in neighboring countries would be targeted.
