The day after the ceasefire in Gaza came into effect, Israel carried out several airstrikes in the southern Lebanese district of Sidon on Saturday morning.
According to the Arab Broadcasting Agency, the bombing took place in the area between Al-Musileh and Al-Najaria, targeting a showroom of bulldozers and excavators.
Several vehicles and machines were destroyed and burned as a result of the bombing. According to initial reports, one person was killed and five were injured. The attacks also destroyed several electricity poles in the area, causing power outages in several places.
It should be remembered that the Israeli army announced the implementation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement yesterday, after which thousands of Palestinian citizens have started returning to their destroyed homes.
On the other hand, the Israeli army has begun taking up positions on the new borders under the agreement. US Special Representative for the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, has said that the Israeli army has completed the first phase of the withdrawal, and a 72-hour period has begun for the release of the hostages.
