ISLAMABAD : Deputy Inspector General Islamabad Police Muhammad Jawad Tariq says the Islamabad Police have devised a comprehensive security plan to protect cattle markets and prevent crimes in the federal capital.
In a statement, he said more than fifteen hundred police officers and personnel have been deployed for the security of cattle markets that have been established on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.
He said traffic police officers will also perform duties to ensure the smooth flow of traffic. He directed patrolling units, the Capital Patrol, and police stations to ensure an emergency response.
The DIG Islamabad Police said citizens should park their vehicles in designated parking spaces. He warned that action will be taken against those who set up markets other than the points approved by the district administration.
