Major General Mostafa Ezadi, deputy commander-in-chief of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, claimed that the forces have shot down more than 200 enemy planes since the start of the war.

According to the International News Agency, Mostafa Ezadi expressed these views while addressing a ceremony held in honor of journalists in Tehran.

He added that the number of enemy planes shot down has exceeded 200 as a result of the resistance of the Iranian nation and the country’s “soft and perceptive” defensive operations

Mostafa Ezadi, describing the ongoing conflict with the United States and Israel as a hybrid war rather than a traditional military war, revealed that enemy countries tried to destabilize Iran internally as well as exert pressure through military operations. History

He further said that the enemy’s strategy includes psychological, informational and cognitive fronts along with military operations, but the Iranian state has been successful in resisting these pressures.

The Iranian commander also rejected the impression that the war had weakened Iran’s political system or divided the country. According to him, not only was the Islamic Republic not divided, but the Iranian system had emerged stronger and more steadfast than before.

Yazidi also claimed that Iran had defeated its opponents with very low war costs, while the enemy’s losses were 100 times higher.

It should be remembered that Iranian officials have previously claimed to have shot down a large number of enemy aircraft, and like in the past, this claim has not been confirmed.

On the other hand, President Trump, while rejecting the claim in media reports that more than one Thai shipment of weapons had been exhausted, said that the US had used as many weapons as peanuts in the war with Iran.
