Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has threatened a swift and strong response to Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz’s threat to target Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, saying that if Israel ignores the agreement, Iran will teach it a lesson.
In a statement released on the social networking website X, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said that the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding is very clear and has been released to everyone.
He said that the US President promised to rein in his pets in Tel Aviv, and if they ignore their owner, Iran will teach them a lesson.
Abbas Araqchi said that if there is any threat to our people and leadership, there will be a swift and strong response.
Earlier, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said during an event in Tel Aviv that despite American diplomatic efforts, Israel could target Iran again if necessary.
He said that we have attacked Iran twice as a precaution and will attack a third time if necessary.
On the question about Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, he said that he was targeted to be killed.
Regarding the negotiations, the Israeli Defense Minister said that the Iranians are good bargainers and try to get concessions in the negotiations, but Israel will not allow Iran to make nuclear weapons. If they did so, then they will have to do everything within the agreement.
