Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that I am being criticized for working today and I understand the helplessness of such people very well.

Addressing a function in Mianwali, the Punjab Chief Minister said that Gujarat is the largest city in Punjab in terms of governance, but surprisingly there was no drain system here, now the Punjab government is putting a new system in Gujarat with Rs 26 billion.

She said that every citizen of Punjab is equal for us, talking and claiming are easy, you have to go out for work, there was continuous rain in Punjab for three months and now there is the worst flood situation, but even at this time, a few elements are only criticizing.

She said that when I sat in a boat in the Rawa River, there was a commotion that what would have happened if it had sunk, I understand the helplessness of those who criticize.

She said that the flood victims are being given three meals a day, while a mobile hospital and animal care and fodder have been arranged in every tent settlement.

The Chief Minister assured that whatever damage was caused during the flood, it will be compensated as soon as the water recedes and work has already started in this regard. 100 people died due to drowning in the flood and walls collapsing. The families of those who died in the accident will be given Rs 1 million each.

He said that those whose entire mud house collapsed will get Rs 1 million, those whose half of the house or some rooms were damaged will get Rs 5 million, while the government will pay Rs 50,000 each for the death or washing away of large livestock, cows, buffaloes, and small animals, such as goats.

He said that in the past, no assistance of more than Rs 400,000 was given, but I will give Rs 10,000,000 each. The Chief Minister said that the flood victims are our guests, we will not sit comfortably until they return to their homes.
