ISLAMABAD: PTI Member of National Assembly Sher Afzal Marwat has said that the thinking that I do not believe has brought the party to this situation, Imran Khan has never refused negotiations, negotiations should not only be for the release of prisoners but also on the basic system.

Addressing the National Conference on National Political Reconciliation in Islamabad hosted by the National Dialogue Committee, Sher Afzal Marwat said that we have never tried to understand the concept of national security, such conditions were apparently against Muslims in the Hudaibiyah peace treaty, how long did Nelson Mandela spend in jail, but the process of dialogue always gives lasting results. We are one that has brought political opposition to its peak, Allah Almighty has not changed the condition of a nation that is worried about changing its condition.

Sher Afzal said that the army has to become the strength of Pakistan, Pakistan should not become the strength of the army, the founding chairman Imran Khan never refused negotiations, the dialogue is not only for the release of the founding chairman, the judiciary has lost its independence after the 27th Amendment, the question is also who will implement the negotiations?

He said that my constituency is the most affected by terrorism, it is the responsibility of the state that the dialogue should be on the basic system and not just for the release of the founding chairman and the prisoners of Kot Lakhpat.

Sher Afzal further said that I was elected from PTI, the thinking that I do not believe has brought the party to this situation, you do not want to sit with the PML-N, what is your problem with the ANP, the PPP and Fawad Chaudhry?
