According to information received by Express News from sources, a high-level consultative meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, which was attended by senior officials including Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

According to sources, the meeting considered the situation arising after Iran’s refusal to participate in the talks, while the Interior Minister took the Prime Minister into confidence regarding his meeting with the American and Iranian ambassadors.

According to sources, the meeting reaffirmed the commitment to ensuring the holding of Iran-US talks, while it was also agreed to continue contacts to ensure Iran’s participation in the talks.
