Karachi: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has welcomed Hamas’s stance and said that the Hamas resistance movement has shown its responsibility and given its dignified response to the proposed peace plan.

In his statement on X, Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that Hamas’s response is in line with the aspirations of the Palestinian people and reflects their insight. Hamas actually wants a permanent ceasefire, not a temporary one. It is completely legitimate to talk about readiness for prisoner exchange and providing suitable conditions for the exchange process.

The Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer said that the complete withdrawal of the Israeli army and the setup of Palestinian technocrats, not international ones, are 100 percent legitimate demands and that detailed negotiations will be held on all these issues through mediators.

The Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer said that Hamas has avoided unnecessary things in its response and all Muslim countries, including Pakistan, should welcome Hamas’ stance.
