Karachi: Gold prices increased today after a 5-day break in the global and local markets.

The price of gold per ounce in the international bullion market recorded an increase of $23 on Saturday, resulting in a new global price of $4,708 per ounce.

On the other hand, in the local bullion markets, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs 2,300, after which the new price came to Rs 493,162 per tola.

Similarly, at the local level, the price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs 1,971 to Rs 422,806.

Meanwhile, in local markets, the price of silver per tola increased by Rs 92 to Rs 8,049 and per 10 grams of silver increased by Rs 79 to Rs 6,900.
