For the first time, 16,856 new investors have registered in the Pakistan Stock Exchange in a month.
A press release by the Pakistan Stock Exchange said that the highest number of 8,09 people from Punjab registered for trading.
In addition, 6,029 people from Sindh, 211 from Balochistan and 1,058 from KPK registered.
On the other hand, 1,334 people from Islamabad, 107 from Azad Kashmir and 49 from Gilgit-Baltistan opened new trading accounts.
According to PSX, 87 percent of men and 13 percent of women registered for trading in the Pakistan Stock Exchange during October.
