SRINAGAR: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, family members of an illegally detained Kashmiri man staged a protest against his arrest and subsequent shifting to a jail outside Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the family members including children assembled outside the office of District Development Commissioner in Budgam and staged the protest.
The protesting family members demanded the release of Merajuddin Kumar who was running a bakery shop in the district. Mehrajuddin is the father of two children. His wife told reporters on the occasion that Merajuddin was shifted from Srinagar to a jail in India without any reason.
