Lahore: Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan says that the government was formed with the support of the PPP and supported the PML-N for the improvement of the country’s system. If the sacrifice is not recognized, then the leadership should take a decision according to the aspirations of the people. They said that the PML-N should complete the numbers even if it is not the case. This system cannot function without the PPP.
Addressing a ceremony to distribute relief packages to flood victims organized by the Church of Pakistan, Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that many areas have been submerged in floods till today. It is a problem from Allah Almighty, from which we all have to come out together.
He mocked the PML-N and said that disasters are a test for us. We should not bring politics into it. Even if we are getting facilities ourselves, a person cannot feel the pain of the poor. We should not quarrel among ourselves. We should not think that everything is in our hands.
He said that due to the shortcomings in the institutions, the survey could not be conducted on merit, so the PPP joined the government, the country is breathing a sigh of relief after the elections because of the PPP, the PPP workers were not happy in the alliance with the PML-N even before, the PPP workers are still not ready for a coalition government with the PML-N, the PPP suffered a lot after the coalition with the PML-N, but it would be a pity if our sacrifice is not even acknowledged.
He said that after the elections, we first tried to form a government together with the PTI, but now they have announced their support, but this is a difficult decision due to the unreliable party, there is no guarantee of what Asad Qaiser said regarding the PPP, when the people give the PPP a majority, they will make Bilawal Bhutto the Prime Minister.
He said that I will tell my leadership that now is the time to listen to the party workers, this whole problem has arisen because of one character, one thing is very clear if the PPP is with us then this system will work otherwise it will not work.
Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that it is not about forgiveness but about respect and dignity, in democracy, what ten minds talk about together is better, it is not about the final word, everyone has to work together, that is where the improvement lies.
