Elon Musk allowed to launch 7,500 more satellites into space

Elon Musk’s space company SpaceX has received permission to launch another 7,500 Starlink satellites into space to expand its internet network.

The US Federal Communications Commission has also approved upgrades to the company’s Generation 2 satellites, which will allow the company to expand its broadband and mobile services to more parts of the world.

The US agency said in a statement that under this approval, SpaceX has been allowed to build, launch and operate 7,500 more Generation 2 Starlink satellites.
