
The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee said on Wednesday that the Zil-Hajj moon had not been sighted in Pakistan, and thus Eid ul Adha will be observed in Pakistan on July 10. (Sunday).
Chairman Maulana Syed Abdul Khabir Azad made the announcement following a meeting of the committee in Karachi after Maghrib prayers to see the crescent moon. The first day of Zil hajj would be July 1 (Friday), he stated.
