ISLAMABAD : Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has prepared a special traffic plan for the cattle markets in federal capital ahead of Eid-ul-Adha.

Chairing a meeting in Islamabad, Chief Traffic Officer Muhammad Sarfraz Virk said additional personnel have been deployed to facilitate the citizens and maintain traffic discipline.

He said more than three hundred and fifty traffic police officers and personnel will perform their duties, while special duties have also been assigned to maintain smooth flow of traffic around the cattle markets.

The Chief Traffic Officer urged citizens to park their vehicles only in the designated parking areas rather than on the roads. He also requested the people to cooperate with the traffic police and follow the instructions.
