ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Sunday stated that 84pc of registered e-voters used their right to vote in by-polls held Sunday. 5117 votes were cast for National Assembly whereas 1016 votes were cast for all four provincial assemblies. On the other hand, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) on Sunday has foiled 12,000 hacking attacks on the internet voting website that was made to facilitate the overseas Pakistanis to exercise their voting right. According to details, hackers attempted almost 1200 times to harm the website however, NADRA successfully. NNI
