ISLAMABAD: Editor in Chief Pakistan Group of Newspapers and Chairman Roze News SK Niazi, while talking in his renowned talk show Sachi Baat, said people in Pakistan are facing many problems, provinces should be formed in the country, Jamaat-e-Islami and PTI have talked about creating provinces, the formation of a province will soon solve the problems of the people, there is talk of creating provinces and it should be implemented, people want provinces to be formed, corruption and inflation are on the rise in the country, creating a province should not be a long process like the Kalabagh Dam, Jamaat-e-Islami’s efforts on the issue of formation of provinces are ongoing, increase in the number of provinces is inevitable, new administrative units will be created, serious and effective work is needed to establish new administrative units, proposals related to the establishment of provinces have been agreed upon with various constituencies, constitutional amendments can also be brought to establish new administrative units, improvement in administrative structure is necessary to solve public problems.

He opposed prolonged road closures in Islamabad for VIP movements and urged alternative traffic routes during protests. He also called for proper medical treatment and facilities for the PTI founder, particularly for women, children and sick visitors. Mohmand said new provinces should be created on the basis of population, area and administrative needs with fair resource distribution, while stressing that the rule of law and equal enforcement of laws are more important than simply increasing administrative units to curb corruption.

It criticized road closures and placement of containers in Islamabad, saying they disrupt businesses and violate political parties’ constitutional right to peaceful protest. The party demanded reduction of additional electricity taxes, an end to excessive charges for crossing the 200-unit consumption threshold, and effective action against power theft. It also called for abolishing the petroleum levy and unnecessary IPP capacity payments, particularly payments to plants that do not generate electricity, warning that continued taxation and economic exploitation of the public could increase unrest.
