BEIJING: Chinese and Saudi Arabia armies held their first joint counter-terrorism drill this month in China. This was the same, earlier done jointly by China and Pakistan.
This was aimed at enhancing the capability of the two militaries in combating terrorism and unconventional security threats. Each party sent 25 soldiers to the training, and participants were placed randomly into different teams.
They communicated with each other about skills, strategies and anti-terrorism experience, and discussed the process of building militaries in two countries.
The Chinese People’s Liberation Army has held several joint training sessions with foreign militaries recently.
