Karachi: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi arrived in Karachi where he was welcomed by Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani while PTI workers who had come on the occasion fought among themselves.
According to Express News, Chief Minister KPK Sohail Afridi arrived in Karachi on a three-day visit, where a large number of PTI workers had arrived at the airport to welcome him. On this occasion, severe disorder was seen on the part of the workers at the airport and on the roads, while at one point the workers fought among themselves and the situation reached the point of a scuffle.
Senior Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani welcomed Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi on his arrival in Karachi. He welcomed the guest on behalf of the Sindh cabinet and also presented him with a traditional Sindh cap and ajrak.
Later, Sohail Afridi came out of the airport, where a large number of workers were present. Sohail Afridi will go to Insaf House in the form of a rally from the airport, after which he will meet the press at the Karachi Press Club and then visit Bagh Jinnah.
Earlier, Sohail Afridi had left Islamabad for a visit to Sindh. In his statement before leaving, he said that he was going to Sindh with a message from his founding chairman. His visit will be for 3 days, during which he will participate in various events.
He said that everyone should fully support the preparation of the street movement. A rally will be held at the Quaid-e-Azam shrine on Sunday, January 11 at 4 pm, for which full preparations should be made. This will be a big rally in the history of Karachi.
Later, Sohail Afridi reached Islamabad Airport. On this occasion, members of the provincial cabinet, members of the national and provincial assemblies from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were also present with the Chief Minister.
It should be noted that Sohail Afridi will meet the party leadership during his visit to Sindh. In addition, meetings with lawyers, business organizations, the Chief Minister of Sindh and the media are also scheduled in Karachi.
On the other hand, Provincial Special Assistant for Information Shafi Jan said regarding the visit of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi to Sindh that this visit to Sindh on the instructions of founding chairman Imran Khan is important to further accelerate the street movement.
He said that the Chief Minister will visit the Press Club after meetings with the party leadership at Insaf House today, while a meeting with the Chief Minister Sindh is also scheduled on Monday. Similarly, a big rally will be held at the Quaid’s Shrine on January 11. Apart from this, the Chief Minister will participate in activities related to the street movement in South, Malir and Korangi districts today and will also meet jail inmates.
According to the Special Assistant, Chief Minister Sohail Afridi will go to Hyderabad on Saturday in the form of a rally, where he will address the Hyderabad Bar and Press Club. In addition to participating in the ISF convention on Saturday, meetings will also be held with the Sindh cabinet and other dignitaries, while the Chief Minister will lead the street movement in Hyderabad and Kotri.
Shafi Jan said that Chief Minister Sohail Afridi will meet ILF, senior lawyers and All City Traders’ Ittehad Association on Sunday. In addition, he will participate in street movement activities in Keamari and District West and attend the Quaid’s shrine, while he will also meet MWM leadership and the media in District East.
He said that Chief Minister Sohail Afridi will leave for Peshawar after addressing the Sindh High Court Bar Association on Monday.
