Lahore: The by-election on the vacant Senate seat in Punjab has been postponed.

The Election Commission has issued a notification to postpone the election, according to which it has been decided to postpone the by-election due to the unavailability of members of the Punjab Assembly and the incompleteness of the election process.

The Election Commission has suspended the election schedule for July 29, the new date of which will be issued later.
