In the meeting, a bitter argument broke out between Governor KP Faisal Karim Kundi and Chief Minister KP Ali Amin Gandapur, and the tension increased so much that Gandapur got up and walked out.
According to sources, a dispute arose over the issue of Rs 500 billion received by the Governor in the name of the war on terrorism. The Chief Minister rebuked him when the Governor mentioned the said amount, to which the Governor requested him to complete his speech, but despite this, the Chief Minister kept telling him not to use false statements. Later, he left the meeting and walked out and returned after the Governor finished speaking.
According to sources, the army chief and other political leaders took charge of the matter, but the matter deteriorated again when ANP chief Aimal Wali Khan criticized the provincial government.
