A major increase was recorded in the prices of gold and silver in the global and local markets today.

The price of gold per ounce increased by $41 in the international bullion market today, Tuesday, as a result of which the new global price reached the level of $4,701.

Under the influence of the global market, the price of 24-carat gold per tola in the local bullion markets also increased by Rs 4,100 to Rs 492,462, bringing the new price to Rs 492,462.

Similarly, the price of gold per 10 grams at the local level increased by Rs 3,516 to Rs 422,206.

In addition, the price of silver per tola increased by Rs 395 to Rs 8,906, while the price of silver per 10 grams also increased by Rs 339 to Rs 7,637.
