Chairperson BISP while holding a press conference said that I am not a politician but will only talk about sponsorship, development, scholarships and skill programs, it is easy to talk negatively but it is important to complete a task.

She said that the PPP always respects the institutions of the country, Benazir Income Support Program supports 10 million families, 60 million people are connected to this program. 13 thousand 500 rupees is very important for a family. It should not be looked down upon.

She said that 3.6 million women benefit from the development program. Growth stunting in children has decreased by 6.4 percent, according to the Aga Khan report, growth stunting in six-month-old children has decreased by 20 percent.

Senator Rubina Khalid said that 187,000 children are registered in the education program, the administrative expenses of the Benazir Income Support Program are only one percent, 17 million children are registered under the sponsorship program, 216 billion rupees have been spent on the education of children.

She said that under this program, more than 500 children have obtained A grade in matriculation, all governments use the data of the Benazir Income Support Program.
