Bangladesh made history by defeating Australia in the first Test match of the series.
Bangladesh achieved the target of 57 runs for the loss of one wicket in the match played in Darwin Test.
The host team had returned to the pavilion after scoring 198 runs in the first innings, in response to which the visiting team scored 426 runs and took a lead of 228 runs.
The Australian team was dismissed for 284 runs in the second innings, Cameron Green also scored a century, but the host team failed to give a big target.

Bangladesh fast bowler Hasan Mahmood took 9 wickets in the match, while Mehidy Hasan took 5 wickets. Josh Hazlewood took 7 wickets for Australia.
It should be noted that the two teams have faced each other in 5 Test matches so far, in which Australia won 4 and Bangladesh won one match.
