Rawalpindi: Eight terrorists associated with ‘Fitna-ul-Hind’ (a term used here to refer to India-backed terrorist elements) were killed during three separate operations by security forces in Balochistan. According to security sources, on October 17, in the Panjpai area of Quetta, terrorists attempted to place obstacles on the road to disrupt local traffic; however, security forces thwarted this attempt.
During the operation, five terrorists—who were operating under Indian patronage—were killed. In Nushki, during a clearance operation, security forces located and targeted a terrorist hideout. Two terrorists were killed in an intense exchange of fire, and weapons and ammunition were recovered. In another intelligence-based operation in Khuzdar, security forces targeted a terrorist hideout, resulting in the death of one terrorist. During this operation, 490 kilograms of explosive material were also seized.
