Karachi: The Pakistan cricket team’s press conference in Dubai scheduled for 7:30 pm today was suddenly canceled.

According to sources, the Pakistan team is also likely to postpone the practice session scheduled for 9 pm.

The important Asia Cup match between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates will be played tomorrow.

On the other hand, the ICC has rejected the demand of the Pakistan Cricket Board and refused to remove match referee Andy Pycroft from his post.

Sources say that the ICC has officially informed the PCB of its decision, but the PCB has not confirmed it yet.

After this development, the PCB will consult the government and consider the future course of action. It is likely that the PCB will present its official position in the next few hours.

Sources have also said that if Pakistan’s demand is not accepted, the national team may decide to withdraw from the Asia Cup.
