There are likely to be significant changes in the Pakistan team for the match against India in the Super Four stage of the Asia Cup.
According to media sources, two players from the team that lost to India in the group match will not be part of the team today.
Sources say that 12 players have been selected for the match against India, however, the possibility of Khushdil Shah, who was included in the team in place of Faheem Ashraf in the match against UAE, being included in the final team is very low.
Sources say that middle-order batsman Hassan Nawaz and spinner Sufyan Muqeem will not be part of Pakistan’s playing eleven.
According to sources, the national team has made a strategy to control the Indian batting this time with fast bowling as opposed to spin bowling.
Pakistan’s possible playing eleven will consist of Saim Ayub, Sahibzada Farhan, Fakhar Zaman, Faheem Ashraf, Salman Ali Agha, Muhammad Nawaz, Hussain Talat, Muhammad Haris (wicketkeeper), Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf and Abrar Ahmed.
