ISLAMABAD: The court has approved the request of former Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur for exemption from appearance in the audio leak case.

The audio leak case against former Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur was heard in the District and Sessions Courts Islamabad. The case was heard by Additional District and Sessions Judge Nasr Minullah Baloch.

During the hearing, the court granted Ali Amin Gandapur’s request for exemption from attendance, however, due to his unavailability, the statements of the prosecution witnesses could not be recorded. The court summoned the prosecution witnesses again at the next hearing.

The court adjourned the further hearing of the case till May 18.

It should be noted that a case has been registered against Ali Amin Gandapur at Golra police station.
