AIOU new academic session from 1st February

ISLAMABAD: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will start its new academic session (admissions-Spring 2018) from 1st of February.

The admission will be open from Matric to PhD level. According to Directorate of Admissions, a number of new programs would be introduced from the new semester as well.

Besides this, short-courses of professional nature will also be launched in line with the new initiatives taken by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid Siddiqui. The University is expanding its scope of academic programs according to the market’s needs and interests of general public.

Being the Mega University in the public sector, it was looking forward to include maximum number of disciplines in its educational net.

The University was activating its 44 regional offices to provide all possible assistance to inspiring applicants for taking admissions that will continue for about a month.

Online admission forms will also be available to facilitate the students. The University’s website has also been upgraded to keep the students informed about the new developments relating to admission, examination and mailing of books. Qualitative improvement is being brought about at all levels to ensure quality education. NNI
