No Big Deal, a comedy sitcom produced entirely with the help of artificial intelligence (AI), has been released on YouTube, produced by British AI studio ModeLabs.ai.
Written by Andrew Dixon, the sitcom tells the story of the turbulent world of venture capital, where an extraordinary team of investment firm Genus is looking for a business idea worth billions of pounds, but most of their efforts end in hilarious and disastrous results.
According to Andrew Dixon, he initially planned to make the pilot episode through traditional TV production, but he realized that this process would not only be slow but also extremely expensive.
Dixon said that after meeting the team at ModeLabs, he realized that artificial intelligence could provide a completely new way to bring the project to life.
He explained that developing the pilot was not just a matter of pressing a button, but involved creative and technical steps behind it.
The release of ‘No Big Deal’ is being hailed as a prominent example of the growing use of artificial intelligence in the TV and entertainment industry, where AI is paving the way for new creative experiences with less time and resources than traditional production.
