
According to survey data collected in the first two weeks of June, nearly one in every five American adults who reported having COVID-19 in the past are still experiencing symptoms of long COVID, according to US health officials on Wednesday.
According to the data, one in every thirteen adults in the United States has long COVID symptoms that last three months or longer after contracting the disease and that they did not have prior to infection.
The data was collected by the US Census Bureau from June 1 to 13 and analysed by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
