Peshawar: A major operation against encroachments has commenced on Peshawar’s Ring Road; illegal structures—comprising dozens of shops—were demolished in Garhi Qamar Din.

In the presence of the Deputy Commissioner of Peshawar, heavy machinery was utilized to demolish the illegal shop structures. Personnel from the Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) and other relevant departments are participating in the operation.

The objective of this action is to eliminate encroachments along the Ring Road and adjacent areas, restore the designated road boundaries, and improve traffic flow.
