Karachi: Gold and silver prices have risen in both global and local markets. According to the All Sarafa Market and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs2,000 to reach Rs440,636, while the rate for 10 grams of gold rose by Rs1,715 to stand at Rs377,774.

Similarly, the price of 24-karat silver per tola increased by Rs50, reaching Rs6,578. Meanwhile, in the international market, the price of gold per ounce rose by $20 to reach $4,181.
