Pakistan hosted Afghan refugees for 50 years, while India is using Afghan soil against Pakistan, with terrorist elements and hostile forces also involved in attempts to destabilize the country. He said rising fuel prices increase agricultural and production costs, ultimately adding to inflation, and urged the government to cut its expenses and adopt effective relief measures. He expressed pride in the armed forces and said Pakistan should continue moving towards progress and stability. On political matters, he said calls for action under Article 6 fall within the constitutional and legal framework, while political differences should be resolved through dialogue and democratic procedures. He urged political leaders, including Yousuf Khan, to use responsible language, avoid personal criticism and respect party positions. He also said protests have serious economic consequences, noting that one day of protests caused Rs120 billion in losses, and stressed that political disputes should be settled through dialogue without harming the public or the economy.

He said Pakistan faces inflation alongside serious security challenges in Balochistan and Afghanistan, requiring adequate defense capabilities and a strategy based on the country’s needs and resources. He called for the creation of new provinces and stressed that political competition should remain between parties, not become personal or institutional confrontation. He said incompetence, along with corruption, is a major governance issue and urged stronger cooperation between state institutions and political parties. National and diplomatic interests should be kept above political differences, while youth and political leaders should avoid making state institutions controversial on social media. He described Jamaat-e-Islami protests as peaceful but said all political protests should remain within constitutional and legal limits and avoid harming businesses, workers and the wider economy.

MNA PTI Yusuf Khan said the terrorism situation in the country in 2022 was different than today, law and order situation was relatively better in 2022, inflation was present in 2022 but comparison is being made with current conditions, the country was not facing security challenges of the current nature in 2022, after 2022, Pakistan is facing new challenges related to terrorism and law and order, and the current situation should be compared with that of 2022. While inflation existed then, the nature of today’s economic and security problems is different. He said the Constitution guarantees the democratic right to protest and strike, and disagreements should be addressed through constitutional and democratic means. The government and opposition should resolve political differences within the constitutional framework, while those responsible for the country’s current problems must be held accountable. Political leaders should clearly state their positions, and the public deserves factual answers and effective measures to address the challenges.
