National cricketers Imam-ul-Haq and Muhammad Rizwan have been banned from playing domestic cricket.

According to sources, Muhammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq will not be able to play the President’s Trophy Grade One tournament due to failure to take the fitness test.

According to PCB rules, it is mandatory to submit fitness test reports to play first-class cricket.

The PCB has not received the fitness test reports of Imam-ul-Haq and Muhammad Rizwan from the players’ departments, due to which they will no longer be able to represent their teams.

The President’s Trophy is starting tomorrow in Pindi, Islamabad, Abbottabad and Peshawar.

Imam-ul-Haq was to play a match against PTV as captain for OGDCL from tomorrow, while Muhammad Rizwan was to lead Sui Gas in the first round in the absence of Shan Masood.

On one hand, the inquiry, on the other hand, the retirement from domestic cricket has put a question mark on the future of both cricketers.

The PCB has made it mandatory for all cricketers to play at least five matches of domestic cricket.

It is now looking difficult for Rizwan and Imam to retain their central contracts.
