Pakistani showbiz personalities have expressed deep grief and anger over the tragic incident of the alleged rape and murder of an 18-month-old girl in the Qayyumabad area of Karachi.
Many well-known showbiz personalities, including Fariha Altaf, Adnan Siddiqui, Sana Baloch, expressed their grief over the tragedy in their messages on social media and stressed greater caution and awareness for the protection of children. Birds
Fariha Altaf’s important message to parents
Actress and host Fariha Altaf said in a video message on social media, “I am deeply shocked, such incidents are not new in the country, this is a very heinous crime.”
Fariha Altaf said, “Most cases of sexual abuse of children are committed by people whom the family knows and trusts.”
She appealed to parents not to blindly trust friends, neighbors or domestic workers with their children, and if a child complains of inappropriate behavior or touching, believe them because children do not lie. Birds
Actor Adnan Siddiqui also reacted on Instagram and said, “This incident with an 18-month-old girl is very heartbreaking. The accused is allegedly 17 years old, but this does not reduce the seriousness of the crime, but rather increases it.” Birds
Adnan Siddiqui prayed for patience for the victim’s family and demanded immediate and impartial justice for the girl.
Ayesha Omar’s question on society
Actress Ayesha Omar expressed concern over the social situation and said, “We have reached the worst era morally. What kind of society is this? What kind of country is this?” We have to collectively ask ourselves in which direction we are going, because such situations cannot be tolerated anymore.”
Sanam Baloch stresses on the protection of children
Actress Sana Baloch also expressed sympathy with the affected family and said, “The culprit should be brought to justice, as a mother, I cannot even imagine the suffering of the affected family. The protection of the children should be ensured at all costs.”
