Karachi: After the IG Sindh met with the Karachi Bar leadership, the lawyers announced to end the protest. According to details, IG Sindh Javed Alam Odho met with the lawyers leadership at the Karachi Bar regarding the lawyers’ protest against the police torture of former member of the Managing Committee of the Karachi Bar Association, Ashfaq Abro.
General Secretary Muhammad Arshad Shar, members of the managing committee, AIG Operation Bashir A Brohi, DI South Asad Raza, SSP South and other officers were present on the occasion. IG Sindh and the leadership of Karachi Bar jointly spoke to the media.
IG Sindh Javed Alam Odho said that a small incident occurred which was resolved with understanding and understanding. The bar, bench and police have to work together, only then will the state move forward. We have to put personal interests aside and work for the system.

The Sindh IG said that the senior lawyers supported us in the Supreme Court on the issue of seniority, we won the case. When we have put on a black coat, we have to ignore many things, we have to serve the public together. Our quarrel will harm the public. In the future, there will be no ego issue between the police and lawyers.
President Karachi Bar Association Amir Nawaz Warraich said that we are grateful for the arrival of Javed Alam Odho Sahib. Our request was that a case be registered. Now that the IG Sahib has come on his own, we will not take any further action. We try our best to maintain a good relationship. Odho Sahib, you are the son of a lawyer and I am the son of a policeman.
The President Karachi Bar Association said that you are older, you came to us, we withdraw the demand to register a case. Our request is only that when a lawyer comes to the police station, he should be given respect. Whether the work is done or not, but respect is necessary. If a lawyer does something wrong, then they should approach the Sindh Bar Council. I will also tell my lawyers to improve their behavior when they go to the police station.
