Karachi: The price of gold in the global and local markets decreased, while silver prices increased.

The price of gold per ounce in the international bullion market suddenly fell by $27 to $4,717.

On the other hand, the price of 24-carat gold per tola in the local bullion markets also decreased by Rs2,700 to Rs494,062, while the price of gold per 10 grams decreased by Rs2,315 to Rs423,578.

In contrast to the decline in gold prices, the price of silver per tola in the country increased by Rs80 to Rs8,525, and the price of silver per 10 grams also increased by Rs68 to Rs7,308.
