Director General (DG) of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, has said that the relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are very deep, brotherly and based on emotions and under the mutual agreement, if there is any threat to Saudi Arabia, it is also a threat to us.
DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry was asked during a press conference that if India attacks again tomorrow, what will be the position of Saudi Arabia and will Saudi Arabia help Pakistan, to which he said that the relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are very deep, there are many dimensions, brotherly and emotional relations, the Strategic Mutual Defense Treaty is a manifestation of the historical and deep relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia that have been going on for decades and it has many aspects.
He said that one thing should be clear that the honor of being the Custodians of the Two Holy Mosques is a great honor for every child and every Muslim of Pakistan that Allah Almighty has chosen Pakistan and its forces to defend the Two Holy Mosques if there is any threat to them and the security of the Two Holy Mosques is linked to the national security of Saudi Arabia.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that any threat to Saudi Arabia is also a threat to us, similarly we value the security and safety of Saudi Arabia, similarly Saudi Arabia also values the security of Pakistan, it has bilateral importance for both countries, what will be the result of this is not part of the agreement.
He said that it is very clear to us that Allah has ordered us to fulfill our promise because you will be asked about the promise, so we are going to fulfill our promise, we are going to fulfill what we have promised.
DG ISPR said to a question that there is no one in the world who has given as many testimonies and as much as we are ready for war, we have faith in ourselves and the nation and the nation also has faith in us.
He said that India had a misunderstanding that there is a distance between the Pakistan Army and the people.
