LAHORE : Pakistan on Sunday announced its 15-member squad for the T20 World Cup, with Salman Ali Agha being appointed as the captain of the Pakistan T20 team.
Member selection committee Aqib Javed, head coach Mike Hesson, and skipper Salman Ali Agha announced the team for the World Cup in a press conference held here.
Salman Ali Agha will lead the side, which includes Babar Azam, Faheem Ashraf, Khwaja Nafees, Salman Mirza, Sahibzada Farhan, Usman Tariq, Abrar Ahmed, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Nawaz, Shaheen Afridi, Usman Khan, Saem Ayub, Shadab Khan, and Naseem Shah.
Pakistan will begin World Cup campaign against the Netherlands on February 7. The T20 World Cup will be held from February 7 to March 8 in India and Sri Lanka.
The preparations will start with a three-match T20 series against Australia.
