Dengue mosquito attacks continue unabated in Rawalpindi, 17 more cases reported

17 new dengue patients have been reported in Rawalpindi in the last 24 hours.

According to the details, a total of 10,816 dengue patients were screened in Rawalpindi and 656 confirmed dengue patients came.

So far this year, no deaths have been reported from dengue, while 61 confirmed dengue patients are under treatment in hospitals.

The health department said that the number of dengue surveillance teams is 1,499, so far 5,316,568 houses have been checked and 1,57,073 houses have been dengue positive.

Spot checking is 1,426,000, 111 spots will be checked and 21,021 are spot positive. Larvae were found from 1,78,094 places which were destroyed.

Additionally, 4265 FIRs, 1813 building seals and 3415 challans were registered for violation of dengue SOPs. A fine of Rs 1 crore 556 thousand was imposed for the presence of dengue larvae.

Dengue larvae were found and dengue patients were reported from Dhok Mangtal, Dhok Babu Irfan, Kontrella, Pandora, Dhamial. Apart from this, dengue larvae were also found and dengue patients were reported from Kotha Kalan, Hazara Colony, Chak Jalal Din and Ward 2 Wah Cantt.
