35 Indian-backed terrorists killed, 12 soldiers martyred in forces operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

35 Indian-sponsored Fitnat-ul-Khawarij terrorists killed in intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while 12 soldiers were martyred.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), 35 terrorists belonging to India’s proxy network Fitnat-ul-Khawarij were killed in two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa between September 10 and 13.

According to the Pakistan Army spokesperson, acting on information, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Bajaur district and during this, 22 Indian-sponsored Khawarij were killed after a fierce exchange of fire.

The second operation was carried out in South Waziristan district, where 13 more terrorists were killed, however, 12 brave sons of Pakistani soil were sacrificed for the motherland during the fierce exchange of fire.

According to the ISPR, arms and ammunition have been recovered from the possession of the slain terrorists. These terrorists were involved in several sabotage operations in these areas. Intelligence reports have confirmed that Afghan nationals were directly involved in these terrorist acts and the use of Afghan soil against Pakistan remains a matter of concern.

Pakistan expects the interim Afghan government to fulfill its responsibilities and not allow its soil to be used for terrorism against Pakistan.

Sanitization operations are underway by the forces to clear the area. The Pakistan Army has reiterated its resolve to root out the scourge of Indian-sponsored terrorism.

According to the ISPR, the sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
