Shehrbano Naqvi becomes first Pakistani woman officer selected for Asia Society Fellowship

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Shehrbano Naqvi has been selected for the prestigious Asia Society 21 Next Generation Fellowship, becoming the first female police officer from Pakistan to achieve this honor.

According to Punjab Police spokesperson, ASP Shehrbano has been chosen as part of the Class of 2025. Inspector General Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, said that global recognition of Punjab Police officers’ performance is a matter of great pride.

The Asia 21 Next Generation Summit will be held from December 5 to 7 this year in the Philippines, where selected male and female fellows will present concrete proposals to address pressing social challenges.
